Historia

Agora Portals International School forma parte del prestigioso grupo educativo NACE Schools. Reconocido a nivel internacional por la calidad académica, ofrece atención adaptada a las necesidades específicas de los estudiantes. Además, es el primer colegio autorizado para impartir Bachillerato Internacional en las Islas Baleares.

Nuestro modelo educativo se sustenta sobre tres ejes: la excelencia educativa, la profundidad co-curricular y la preparación global, incluyendo la inmersión lingüística. Gracias a estos pilares y a nuestros valores: el respeto y la tolerancia, la responsabilidad, el pensamiento crítico y creativo, la auto-superación y el compromiso social, nuestro colegio se distingue por su carácter único, en un entorno verdaderamente internacional.

El plurilingüismo, la educación musical y deportiva, y el uso de las nuevas tecnologías (incluyendo un pionero proyecto de tablets) caracterizan y definen la metodología docente del colegio. Los estudiantes consiguen dominio de inglés gracias a la interacción con los profesores nativos, el aprendizaje de asignaturas en la lengua y la posibilidad de verificar su nivel en alguna de las escuelas inglesas más prestigiosas del mundo con titulaciones oficiales de Cambridge y Trinity College.

En 2013, el colegio se convirtió en el único centro educativo de Mallorca que ofrecía el Youth Chinese Test, consiguiendo magníficos resultados. Los alumnos del Agora Portals optan al aprendizaje de una lengua adicional: francés o alemán. Una educación global que ayude a los estudiantes a desarrollarse emocionalmente, físicamente e intelectualmente.

Agora Portals International School forms part of the prestigious educational group, NACE Schools. Recognised internationally for academic quality, the school offers attention adapted to the needs of its students. Furthermore, it is the first school in the Balearic Islands authorised to teach the International Baccalaureate.

Our educational project is built around three core ideas: Educational Excellence, Co-curricular Depth and Global Readiness, which includes Language Immersion. Thanks to these pillars and to our values: respect and tolerance, responsibility, critical and creative thinking, self-improvement and social commitment, our school is known for its unique character, in a truly international environment.

Plurilingualism, education in music and sports and the use of new technologies (including an innovative tablet project) characterise and define the school’s teaching methodology. Pupils achieve mastery of English thanks to interaction with our native-speaker teachers, the study of specific subjects in English and the chance to prove their level with some of the most prestigious English schools in the world by taking the official Cambridge and Trinity College exams.

In 2003, the school became the first educational centre in Mallorca to offer the Youth Chinese Test, achieving outstanding results. Pupils at Agora Portals also choose to study an additional language: French or German. A global education which helps students to develop emotionally, physically and intellectually.
