Historia

BasqueMTB is a small mountain biking holiday company, based in the Basque Country in the north west of Spain. We are tucked away between the Pyrenees and the Atlantic coast and enjoy a great mixture of Basque, Spanish and French cultures. The riding here is fantastic and hugely varied as we can choose to bike in the mountains, forests or on the amazing coastal singletrack.

No voy a opinar como participante ni como organizan las rutas, pero si como se relacionan con el entorno. Pésimo, soberbios y rallando la chulería. Invadiendo los pueblos donde van como si les pertenecieran, sin consideracion ninguna con el entorno y tratando a los habitantes con una soberbia digna del que no se sabe ubicar. El viaje perfecto las formas nefastas.

Creo te has confundido con la respuesta a algún cliente vuestro. en ningún momento Leí nocito , y si en ese lugar tuviste algún pequeño percance que simplemente con respeto y educación se puede solucionar. No mezcleis otros pueblos con este de nocito donde se vive en armonía y compañerismo. Ayudando todos a todos.

Hotel was top notch as was the grub and the garage/bike-wash topped it off. This was my first trip with Doug but definately wont be the last  "GUIDING, DONE RIGHT"

The guides are extremely professional and do an excellent job of looking after their guests.Their intimate knowledge of the areas they ride means they are able to tailor the experience to the abilities and preferences of different groups, making sure everyone gets what they came for. The trails themselves are world class and every day is guaranteed to be action packed!  I have already been on 4 Basque MTB holidays and I know why so many people keep coming back for more!

The scenery and biking was simply spectacular but the local expertise, knowledge, and coordination of details is what makes a guided holiday good and BasqueMTB sets the gold standard. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with weather but Doug and his team are so nimble it didn't matter. Even though I know itinerary changes were made, it always felt like we were riding plan A. They were constantly monitoring the weather/trail conditions, looking forward and making changes to keep us on incredible trails riding all day. I was also so impressed with how quickly and confidently they got a gal in our group medical care when she required an x-ray for a dislocation. Doug and his team are ready for anything which gives clients the opportunity to ride with confidence, not worry about the details, and focus fully on blissful biking. The days were long with plenty of biking, adventure, great food, good technical coaching and awesome company. I also loved that Doug uses local accomodations, guides, and services. The trip feels intimate--a window into the local culture. I became a better biker, met new friends, and developed a serious lasting love for Spain. I look forward to many more trips with BasqueMTB.

Have done some "all inclusive" MTB trips in other amazing places with other companies before, and all those were great - but this trip with BasqueMTB truly was on another level! Very highly recommended.  The overall organisation, the managing of a group of varying riders with their own styles and abilities, the choice in trails probably not too easy with the amount of trails in Ainsa, haha, the amazing team, the overall atmosphere, everything was top notch! Muchas gracias again to Doug, Antonio, Enaut, Inigo and Nacho!  I can see why they have many returning guests - I will personally become one of those starting this fall, when I am going to visit BasqueMTB once again for the High Pyrenees.
