One of the oldest cricket club of catalunya founded in 2007 by Nadim with help of Konok, Nahid and Subroto. From 2017 Arif, Sohag, Sohel took control.

Historia

Bengali Cricket Club started it's journey from the mid of 2007. When only 1 club from Catalunya participated in different tournaments organized by cricket españa. When we started we were four and all this four team took part in the T20 tournament at la manga in september 2007 and the catalunya league started in 2008.
4 dedicated cricket lover from Bangladesh who lives in Santa Coloma of Barcelona started practicing real cricket in the rio area of santa coloma. Konok, Nahid, Subroto and Nadim(who brought all them together to make a team). It was very difficult for this guys to play cricket with cricket balls. They started practicing in rio where lots of Bengali young people come to walk and gossip every afternoon. They started making publicity and talking with people to join the club. They had only 3 balls and a bat. After few days they got a complete cricket set for batting and bowling practice. And with in few weeks they were succeeded to create a complete team. And finally in they visited murcia with a complete 15 player squad.
At the beginning Bengali Cricket Club had some talented players who had ability to be in the spanish national team. But for professional and personal reason they couldnot go for the trial and some times they had problem to maintain the team schedule.
Bengali Cricket Club feels proud to be the first bengali team of Spain. Need your support and wishes.
