Historia

Boreal have been leading the way in climbing and mountaineering footwear since 1975. For 40 years, the family run company has designed, manufactured, tested and developed the products in-house in Villena, Spain, allowing the brand to remain at the forefront of innovation. From the original idea of applying sticky rubber to climbing shoes back in 1979 to the development of the unsurpassed Zenith® compound, and the pioneering use of waterproof membranes in mountaineering boots to the unique Dry-Line® system, Boreal continues to set new standards.
