BORG or Barcelona Osseointegration Research Group is a group focused on research and disclosure of oral implantology and its various clinical applications.
The BORG was conceived in early 2005 when four doctors specialized in oral implantology established a common protocol with its own results to demonstrate that in cases where the diameter of the pillar was smaller than the diameter of the implant, bone loss was ostensibly lower, and thus was born the article 'Benefits of an Implant Platform Modification Technique to Reduce Crestal Bone Resorption' which was published in Implant Dentistry in 2006.
From then till today we have lectured worldwide and we have developed or collaborated on many international publications.
