Welcome to the official Facebook page of the Cantabrian Tourist Board. Welcome to a region that can be defined with two simple words: culture and nature.
This region on the north coast of Spain keeps within its bit more than 5000 square kilometres a total of 37 nature reserves and a whole historic and artistic catalogue, where the prehistoric and geologic cave heritage and the network of little museums placed all around the territory shine in their own light.
Sea and mountains; beaches, art, culture, gastronomy, monuments and caves. Cantabria is several tourist destinations in one.
Full of natural talents and places of tourist and cultural interest like El Soplao and Altamira caves, bastions of an impressive underground heritage of more than 6.500 caves, 10 of which named World Heritage, Cabarceno’s Nature Park, where more than one thousand animals from the five continents live in semi freedom, or its romanic art, its coastal gothic, the seaside villages and the Modernism in Comillas, Santander’s bay o the Fuente Dé cable car, which brings the visitor up to the heart of the Picos de Europa. A complete range of offers that can be visited during a three or four day trip.
