Historia

Our 1 bedroom apartment is situated in El Faro, Mijas Costa, Which is 4km from the centre of Fuengirola. It is in a quiet residential area, with beautiful gardens, swimming pool, sea views and only 10min walk to a lovely quiet beach.

The apartment is being refurbished, to ensure a modern fresh look, perfect for family's, couples or friends. An will be ready to rent from Easter 2014.

The apartment can sleep up to 4 adults and an infant in a travel cot, with two single beds in the main bedroom (which can also be pushed together to give one large double) and a full size, comfy double sofa bed in the lounge.
This enables family's, the option of putting young children to bed still allowing full use of the lounge, kitchen, bathroom and sunny terrace to enjoy of an evening.

Depending on what type of holiday you like, the lively resort of Fuengirola is only a 5 minute taxi away, you can also hop on the bus as there is a bus stop by the beach and for those that enjoy walking, its a 40 minute walk along the coastal path but this also runs adjacent to the main road N340.
Once in Fuengirola, you have access to the main train station that runs a fantastic service into the surrounding resorts of Benalmadena, Torremolinos, & Malaga city centre. Which all have fantastic beaches, shopping centres, restaurants, night life, and much more.
Fuengirola has a large 7km beach front, great for walking, cycling or just to find a nice spot to sit and sun bath. It is packed with bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. An for the children there is a water park and Bio Zoo, not to mention all the beach water sports and parks.

If you are looking to have the odd day away from the pool/beach then a taxi will cost 10€ each way into Fuengirola or as mentioned above, you can catch a bus for a lot less. If you would like to be in the heart of all the action daily, or visit places where the train does not run (Marbella & Puerto Banus) we recommend you hire a car, as this makes getting around a lot easier, and gives you the chance to get the most out of the Costa del Sol and visit all the beautiful surrounding areas.

Prices for 2014.
Unlike many others, we will not be doing high and low season prices, we will be keeping the price the same all year round, making it affordable for family's to travel within school holidays, without having to pay a premium for the sunny months.
The apartment is 350€ a week (aprox 300 pound depending on exchange rate).
To confirm a booking, a 50€ deposit will be required via paypal, with the balance to be paid in Euro´s on your day of arrival.

Or for shorter breaks it is 50€ a night

Please take into consideration, the apartment is 25mins away from Malaga airport so a private transfer, taxi transfer will be needed. Taxis can be very expensive here on the coast and i have been in touch with a local taxi company who quoted 39€ each way (by day) 46€ each way (by night) please note there may be an airport supplement from the airport taxi making it a couple of euros more.

I am happy to offer airport transfers to and from the apartment (when it is possible) for the price of 50€ return, this is halving the local taxi cost and again making it a more affordable holiday.

We can supply car seats, high chairs, travel cot, steriliser etc to help travelling with young ones slightly easier.
