For more than 40 years Costa Blanca News has been covering all local news, features and useful information from the Costa Blanca and Spain in English
Founded in 1971 by Brian Sumner, the Costa Blanca News started life as an English page in the Ciudad newspaper in Alcoy. Following eager acceptance the single sheet Ciudad soon became a newspaper in its own right and Costa Blanca News was born in 1973. Since then it has grown and enjoyed spectacular success, being nominated for Valencia’s Best Company award in the Nova Prizes in 2002.
Costa Blanca News is available every Friday for just 2€ and currently has a readership of over 100,000. It is sold from Almería to Castellón and in most major airports.
The head office in Finestrat is where the newsgroup’s several papers are managed. Costa News' other titles are Costa del Sol News, Costa Almería News and Costa Levante News.
Costa Blanca News is printed in 289x390mm with over 104 pages covering all local news from the Costa Blanca and surrounding areas in English, plus many features for all tastes and interests, Med TV Guide, useful information and classified advertising sections.
