Historia

We have a bright & airy south facing 2 bedroom apartment on the Costalita Urbanisation set in gardens planted with palm trees and flowering shrubs. The development has a reputation for being very well maintained and is a perfect place for a family holiday and for those who like to play golf or tennis, horse ride and walk on the beach . Further afield you can explore Andalucia with its famous ‘Pueblos Blancos’ and glorious landscape. It is also easy visit Granada, Jerez, Malaga and Gibraltar on a day trip.

One of the enjoyable aspects of the apartment is the terrace which overlooks the swimming pool and gardens. From here you can watch your kids by the pool, soak in some sunshine on one of the sun loungers or eat ‘al fresco’ at our Morrocan tiled table. (Taking an early morning dip in the pool is also not to be missed). The beach is a short stroll away through the gardens & then through a locked gate which makes Costalita a very safe and child friendly place.

The beach has an attractive promenade with views towards the Rock of Gibraltar and on a clear day the mountains of north Africa. The beach is sandy and perfect for swimming, paddling and taking a walk on. We have 2 cafe\restaurants here where it is very pleasant to go for a drink at the end of the day. Relax & enjoy !

While staying at the apartment it is easy to shop for groceries. We have 2 supermarkets very close by ; we also have a 24/7 garage which sells same day UK papers, fresh bread & groceries.

Cancelada is a 5 minute drive away. Here you will find a village with its traditional white washed warehouses in the pretty centre which once stored the sugar cane grown in the area. Now there are restaurants, bars, a chemist, bank, bread shop and a very good wine store.

Besides the apartment being rented out for holidays it is also our holiday home which we regularly use. We make a great effort to make sure it is stylish, comfortable and well -equipped. We have put together a House Book in which is listed all the possible information you might want during your stay. Here you can find out about where to find recommended restaurants, the local markets, horse riding, golf, days out, doctors, the dentist, the hairdresser and lots more further afield.

We have an Apartment Manager, who you can call during day time hours if need be.

Costalita is a 60 minute drive from Malaga Airport and 60 minutes from Gibraltar Airport. In season change over days are Saturday to Saturday. Mid season change over days can be by arrangement according to availability.

The Costa del Sol has the warmest winters in Europe. This makes it an ideal place for an out of season holiday. Costalita is an excellent place to use as a base when planning day trips further afield, or wanting to play golf locally or simply to enjoy the great Spanish climate .
