It is a bold and colourful bunch of sweet pea flowers, with the most stunning watercolour style. With this being my first tattoo, I was very nervous, but Santa made me feel so calm and relaxed, chatting with me & helping me through the process. She has incredible creative talent and skill and is able to bring the concepts, ideas and thoughts you have for the tattoo to life & turn these into a unique design that is special for you. There are no walk-ins or image folders. The process starts well in advance with a discussion about your thoughts and ideas. Santa takes this and creates a draft which becomes a guide for what is tattooed on the skin. Santa then uses her artistic skills to enhance the work on the skin as she tattoos. I'd asked for an abstract piece with lots of ideas, concepts and emotions to be included. There were things I wanted in conflict with each other but somehow tied together and with a background and underlying theme. A lot to ask! Santa listened and clarified. When I got close to the 1st appointment I was sent an image of the outline design. It was instantly familiar and contained everything we'd talked of and had been spread over both forearms, but which came together as one image. I was surprisingly moved at how deeply Santa had listened to me and understood. The tattoo took 3 full days and it was amazing seeing it come to life. Any pain seemed to be countered by the beauty of the work, and in the context of my themes, almost seemed necessary. Santa is obviously a very talented artist, but she is also a fascinating person and real joy to spend time with. Deeply thoughtful, intelligent, empathetic and passionate. Someone you can easily chat with for hours and hours, which we did! You really feel that she puts every part of her into her art, and this comes across in her creations. The aftercare is great, with surgical coverings and essential oil balms and good advice. Santa will check on you and make sure you are healing well. Overall I cannot recommend Santa highly enough. This was my first tattoo and I'm no spring chicken, but despite this I found the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. Santa has a unique combination of skills and personality.
