Historia The Church of El Salvador o de la Transfiguración is a church located in La Roda, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1981.Construction of the mainly Renaissance-style church began circa 1510-1515, and continued until 1569, when the bell-tower was erected. The site is said to have once housed the castle of Robda . The church arquitects were the brothers Pedro and Juan de Alviz.The interior has an Adoration of the Magi by Luca Giordano. The sacristy has wood carvings attributed to Berruguete.
