The UK Hoop Gathering Project runs summer hooping weekends in England, a biannual week-long hoop holiday in Spain and one-off hoop workshops and courses.

Historia
UKHG runs summer weekend hoop-dance retreats in the English countryside as the Hoop Gathering at Hardwick -  where participants live, eat and play over 3 days. Some of the best hoopers in the world come to teach every year, and as well as hooping workshops we offer alternative workshops like 5 Rhythms dancing or burlesque - as well as use of the river-side hot tub, and delicious healthy food all weekend long. www.hardwickhoopgathering.co.uk

UKHG also bi-annually organises a week long Spanish Hoop Holiday in Catalonia, Spain in June. Hoopers come to attend varied hoop workshops, dance classes, parties, yoga/meditation sessions, excursions to the local eco-lake, to stay in our beautiful luxury hoop mansion and enjoy the great food and brilliant atmosphere!

Gems of UKHG has taught hooping and hoop dance extensively across the UK, Europe and Asia since 2008. She teaches 'training' hoop workshops periodically in the UK - such as trick intensives, contemporary hoop dance techniques, hoop and movement classes, 'build-your-own' hoop workshop on demand and more.

Gems of UKHG has performed fire-hooping, LED glow hooping and multiple hooping professionally since 2009, in places as far away as Thailand and Egypt. She is available to book for festival performances, weddings, parties, club nights or any other event which requires dance and a high visual impact!

UK Hoop Gathering can bring hoop and circus skills workshops to any festival, event or party. We bring all the equipment needed and run fun-filled free-play sessions or more structured 'trick learning' workshops for adults and children as required.
