History

Mediderma was founded 25 years ago by a group of Dermatologist led by Dr. Gabriel Serrano, who also founded Sesderma Laboratories, one of the most renowned international skin care laboratories dedicated to develop high quality, effective and safe skin care products and present in more than 60 countries

From the very beginning, 35 years ago, Dr. Gabriel Serrano has been involved in the development of fine skin care products, new skincare treatments and protocols to achieve healthy skin.

Dr. Serrano is an internationally renowned authority in the field of cosmetic dermatology. He is a dermatologist practicing in Valencia, Spain and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, European Academy of Dermatology, Spanish Academy of Dermatology, Ibero-Latin-American College of Dermatology (CILAD) and other scientific societies. His thinking is highly sought after by the skin care industry. He holds several patents in the field of anti-aging skin care, chemical peels and sun damage repair.  Dr. Serrano regularly lectures on shaping trends in skincare and development of novel and cutting-edge anti-aging skin care.

Dr. Serrano continues to do active clinical research in the field of nanotechnology applied to dermatology and Sesderma laboratories has  actually several lines where the active ingredients are encapsulated in nanoliposomes.  Dr. Serrano is finally the author of more than 150 medical publications in prestigious peer-reviewed dermatology journals.   Dr. Serrano is also a regularly invited speaker at international conferences on cosmetic dermatology, chemical peels, skin repair, skin aging, skin cancer and advancements in skin care.
