Welcome to John Keo Walking Tours: Hiking and Walking in Nerja and Frigiliana.
Two Towns..One Destination!

Nerja and Frigiliana between them make this area the capital of Hiking and Walking in Málaga. The rugged mountains, fast running rivers, stunning scenery, wildlife and flora all combine to make this region a fantastic destination for the "Active Tourist" There are great restaurants and bars, fabulous beaches and cracking mountain walks. In the Axarquia there is still a strong flavor of rural and small town Spain with its Pueblos Blancos or White Villages. We have a great selection of routes for all walkers from gentle walks in the immediate vicinity, to 20km hikes with altitudes of up to 2000 meters. I organize Guided Day Walks and Walking Holidays based on the fitness levels and stamina of the group. Walking For Pleasure, Hiking For Health! This is the ethos of our holidays.We offer a personal service and an experience of mountain life in a Natural Park area. John Keogh Walking Tours is fully licensed and insured with full permission for guided hikes from the Government of Andalucía.

I am a fully qualified International Travel Consultant (IATA-UFTAA Approved) offering walking holidays for individuals and groups including airport transfers, accommodation, guided walks and packed lunches in the Sierra Almijara Natural Park.
