Julio and Björn are both flamenco aficionados with a strong background in the service and tourist industry. They have long seen the absence of this type of offering in Mallorca and in 2015 decided to work together to fulfil their Flamenco show dream.

Historia

Our Mission
To promote awareness and understanding of the art, culture and complexity of flamenco.
To form a solid group of artists that live off their music.
And finally, to create a viable business, working with flamenco and learning every day from the music, the passion, the culture, sharing this joy with others.

Our artists are chair makers, sell clothes on markets, … Flamenco is their lives and it’s a dream for them to make a living from their art.
This is our main goal: If we succeed in this, Flamallorca will be telling wonderful stories in the future!

THE SHOW
Your experience begins in the Theater Sans' beautiful Gothic courtyard where you will sample the finest local delicacies and wine, prepared by the renowned chef Björn San Pedro.
A traditional Troubadour will surprise and entice you with stories of the theater, flamenco and introduce the characters in the show., giving you an understanding of the art to rival the locals in Seville.
You will then be ushered into the intimate theater itself to experience Flamenco as once was the tradition in Palma, "Tablao" style.
The entire experience lasts 90 minutes, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the wonderful city of Palma!

THE CULTURE
FLAMENCO CAME TO MALLORCA FROM ANDALUCIA IN THE 60S. AT ONE STAGE THERE WERE 18 "TABLAOS" (FLAMENCO BARS WITH A STAGE) IN PALMA.

OUR ARTISTS
You will be enthralled and entertained by acclaimed dancers Aurora Recuero and Juanky Montero, backed by music from José Cortés, José Murcia and Joaquinico "el Seco", and vocals by Miguel Cano.

THE VENUE
Teatre Sans is a Gothic-style 14th century theater in the heart of Palma's old town (Casco Antiguo), close to the Cathedral and within easy reach of both the Port and Palma's many fine hotels. With a 100-seat limit, your experience is guaranteed to be intimate - the way Flamenco is intended to be enjoyed. Welcome!

Enjoy flamenco in its purest form in a close and direct way.The group is made up of 4 artists. 1 cantaora, 1 guitar player, 1 bailaor and percussionist and 1 bailaora.We offer 2 types of shows:A daytime 35 minute long show, every Tuesday at 11, 12 and 1 pm.An evening show every Thursday at 8 pm at 9 pm Between June and September and from May 19th onwards every Sunday also.Short, intense, authentic and only true passionate flamenco by FlaMallorca."
