Historia

Sotogrande International School is opening its long awaited crèche, in the heart of Sotogrande. Fundamental aims to put the fun in childcare with its core focus on creativity, imagination and mental development. The stunning location at Santa Maria Rio Polo Club, puts children in contact with nature and provides an inspiring space, both inside and out, for them to explore, play and learn within the nurturing and safe environment of RioGrande and its 24 hour security.
Director Ana Guani has studied and worked in childcare for over 24 years and she has a Masters in preschool education and development. She previously ran a nursery in Uruguay, before moving to Spain 4 years ago where she has set up a playgroup for 4-6 year olds in Sotogrande.
Fundamentals’ curriculum combines learning through play with individual and social development, to build confidence and knowledge and to allow talents to shine. For the 3 year old children Fundamental works with the IB system to prepare them for “Big school”!
Fundamentals is dedicated to its students education even after they leave and so children who attend Fundamentasl do not have to pay the Endowment Fund for Sotogrande International School*, so that they can continue to receive the same exceptional teaching up until they are 18.
