Historia

Galería Maior was founded in Pollença in 1990, and in 2004 opened a second space in Palma de Mallorca. The gallery works with and represents emerging and established, Spanish and international contemporary artists. For thirty years Galería Maior has played a crucial role in the development of an important generation of Spanish artists.

With a year-round programme of approximately seven exhibitions, Galería Maior actively contributes to the field of contemporary art by offering a platform dedicated to the production, exhibition and sale of works of art. Galería Maior works with museums, institutions and foundations in the dissemination of the gallery artists, both nationally and internationally.
