Historia

Cortijo Uribe is the perfect location to visit and discover the heart of Andalucia. The house is over 500 years old and has just been refurbished in Andalucian style. As well as being able to ride our wonderful well mannered horses you will be able to stay in true comfort and style in the air conditioned rooms that also have WiFi access and Sky Television. The house has an infinity pool, and many lounge and garden areas to relax in comfort. If you feel like treating yourself we can organise a massage or beautician, and a new therapy room is being installed in the near future.

Original We spent 3 nights at the Hacienda Horses and what a fantastic experience this was!  I highly recommend this place if you are interested in a horse riding holiday.  The place is absolutely stunning, it is quiet and remote.  The horses are gorgeous and they have there a lot of very friendly dogs as well.  The staff was flexible, welcoming and friendly.  The lessons were very interesting, I definitely made progress.  The food was delicious as well!  The internet connection was really good so I think this place is suitable for remote work as well.

Having arrived with no riding experience and leaving being able to confidently walk, turn, trot, leg yield and even experience some cantering after only 7 days, the trainers here are absolutely phenomenal, and whether you're experienced or not, we believe this would benefit all levels of rider.  Not only have I learnt to ride, and my partner having a chance to perfect her prior experience. We have had several stunning morning hacks out in the local olive groves, vineyards and  beautiful cafe for breakfast. This truly is the epitome of beautiful riding venues, and the staff leading the hacks were incredibly knowledgeable of the local area and history.  The accommodation was stunning and full of character, the pool was an amazing cool down after a long ride, and perfect to relax by in the gorgeous Spanish sun.  As for food, we opted in for lunch everyday, and wouldn't have had it any other way, as each meal, from breakfast to the 3 course dinner was beautifully made. The chef was incredibly accommodating for my allergies and ensured that I was never singled out and could enjoy the same meal as everyone else each night.  Hacienda Horses provided a lovely social atmosphere, where several guests coming and going were all lovely to chat to and get along with, and even better to join for a games night, it's certainly a great way to meet like minded people!  Christine was a lovely host too, checking in with all guests to make sure they were enjoying themselves, catering for all sorts of requests and giving a real sense of welcome to herself and Paul's home.  Thank you to all staff involved, and to those who looked after the horses. They were all lovely, and we will certainly be back as soon as we can.

The location set in the middle of olive and wine trees is beautiful making the riding experience so unique.  The horses......well the horses are the best part......all sizes and styles are there to choose from, so well schooled and cared for, giving you the best riding experience.  After your  lesson and/or ride out relax by the pool set in a beautiful garden.......glass of a cheeky something.....holiday book and a view of the olive trees.......bliss!!! And one must is the picnic ride.....ride out be greeted by the staff for a buffet lunch on tables set among the trees in this beautiful location......enjoy a ride home!! I have been 3 times and can't wait to return.....can't see me trying anyway else as all you need is here! Try it you will love it!
