Los CRAPA Original We booked a self-guided walking tour with Ibex Trex in the Sierra Nevada/Apujarras in September 2022. Everything about the trip was well organised and we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was excellent with pools at the hotels - perfect after a hard days walking. Our bags were ferried from hotel to hotel by Ibex so only light packs to carry. The food was great. Ibex provided route maps on the Wikiloc App, which we used for the first time and worked very well. It is a lovely area with rustic villages and surprisingly green valleys. The highlight of the trip was climbing Mulhacen 3479m the highest peak in mainland Spain. Dan and the team did an excellent job and we thank them for a fantastic holiday. The CRAPAs

The terrain was varied and, at times, challenging but Dan was always there with a helping hand if needed and his local knowledge of the area, its vegetation, wildlife and history is extensive. Dan was a kind, thoughtful and fun host/well informed guide in a stunningly beautiful part of Spain. A week wasn’t long enough!
