La Veguilla is a farm of about 3 hectares, which sits close to the small village of Nieva, Segovia, an hour and a half ride from Madrid.

Our aim is to be self sustainable with our organic, healthy food. We practice meditation, yoga, massage.

Historia

Your day will start in the garden with Lauro, where you will learn about organic farming, planting, seeding with different technique and how to avoid the chemical use.

From seeds to the table: you will be able to pick up vegetables you like from the garden and to help prepare a delicious meal and taste it. You can ask any question to him: he will be pleased and very passionate to satisfy your curiosity.

We also have a lot of medicinal plants and herbs in the garden for example chamomile, mint, lavender and many other herbs you don’t even know what their beneficial properties for our body are.

After tasting your delicious meal you will have free time: you will have a long siesta time to rest in your body, like the locals do.

Throughout the week, depending on the weather and the conditions we will have different activities. We will have a walk in the nature having a beer and to see the sunset, yoga session in the terrace, massage workshop with Alfredo and Lei, gardening with Lauro. You can also learn from Lei how to make bread with natural yeast. If you are interested in cooking this is place for you!
