The space was a dream. Tucked away in the Spanish countryside it was quiet, clean, and serene. The rolling landscape was stunning, sensual, inspiring, invigorating. My husband and I read, cooked, ate, drank, sunned. The outdoor showers were lovely and perfect to come back to after a day at the beach. We roadtripped to Cadiz, and also spent several days in and around Tarifa, exploring the beachy city. There were tons of great books on the shelves at the house to poke around in and look at and my husband and I had a blast pouring over them on our freetime. Buzzel when he appeared was kind, warm, hospitable, and most interested in sharing with us great stories and lots of laughter. The staff was positively brilliant (Antonia - what an amazing woman!) and it was fun as well to cross paths here and there with other travelers/guests who also passed through the property while we were there. The set up was so spacious and comfortable that it felt like we were in a home of our own - such a great feeling for a vacation! Gorgeous light in our room, and amazing cross-breezes ("Levante" - yes!) that kissed the skin in our peaceful slumbers. We bought flower essences from the shop on the property (great!!) and just generally had a fantastic time. Leaving was difficult, but returning will be easy. Until then, we will dream of our time there. Can't wait to go back.

We had the best stay at Buzzel's extraordinary and beautiful site. The house was clean (cleaned every day by lovely Antonia), the mattress was big and so so comfortable, and all over the house and site are the coolest and inventive solutions for light switches, showers, taps, sleeping places - amazing. We also loved the many many interesting books that Buzzel has - as well as the conversations we had with Buzzel. He's a wonderful and cheerful host. We will absolutely return here!

This is a perfect place to relax. Sleeping in the dome is great. The "round room" gives you a really special feeling, which is made perfect by one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. We spent 2 nights and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and landscape, we will come back!

Los Baños de la Luz is near Tarifa at the very southern tip of Spain, five minutes from the famous and beautiful beaches of Valdevaqueros to the south and Bolonia to the West on the Atlantic ocean.

Los Baños is a unique retreat place. The space is a romantic getaway, a place to inspire and relax. We can accommodate up to 15 people comfortably. We have a number of different lodgings from a 12 euros per day Mercedes caravan with two beds to the Estrella Bedroom in the large Guest House.

Our exclusive large spring-fed lake invites for cooling off on hot days.

AND IF YOU CHOOSE THE WRONG SPACE?
No problem, if you booked one of our individual spaces and you see something that even attracts you more, we'll swap you around (upgrade or downgrade). If you want to try out another one of our diverse rooms and spaces after a few nights or experiment the first nights in the tent by the lake or in the Wooden Box and then settle for a more conventional bedroom with real walls around you, you are welcome to do so, if we have vacancies. Experience your heart's desires.

Los Baños de la Luz 100 years ago was a therapeutic spa, perhaps originally a roman spring, it became a buddhist centre in 1995 and now is a relaxing guest space and wilderness park. It is ideal for individuals, seminar groups, weddings and gatherings of up to 200 people.

One of the bonuses of staying here is our 140 sq meter hall (the temple, the dome) to have an open space as refuge from the levante wind. Please have a look at the photo albums and contact us via private message if you wish to stay.
