Pet Healthcare policies in Portugal and Spain is available through Protectapet, The European Pet Healthcare Management Organisation. With head offices in Benitachell, Spain, and as Spain´s leading pet insurance provider to expats, our comprehensive products and policies are soon to be available throughout Europe.

We are looking for Insurance Brokers, Insurance Agents, Veterinarians and any other animal associated business that would like to sell and promote our products in Portugal and in any of the other European Union countries.

Our customer and agency affiliate program support offers you the ability to sell and promote our products and we do all the work. Client information is completed on the website and purchased directly online.
Claims can be made online and this takes all the hassle away from the agents so that you don´t have to be involved in the claims process unless you want to be.
Auto-renew facilities, with easy monthly or annual payments are available and clients can change, alter and amend any of their own details online, saving you time and money.

You can view your own agency status and commission statements online at any time. Store all the quotes that you do for future reference and convert those to additional sales as and when the client wants to.

Protectapet´s basic pet healthcare plans include,

* Premiums fixed for life. – We will keep the premiums the same each year regardless of the number of claims made.
* Any age or breed accepted. – All cats and dogs over the age of 8 weeks can join and older pets can be covered for the same premiums as no premium penalties are added for older pets.
* Veterinarian Fees. – Vets bills and medications, home visits and hospitalisation and alternative medications are included.
* Unlimited number of claims. - Up to € 2,000.00 per claim, up to a maximum of € 5,000.00 per year.
* Boarding Kennel Fees. – We will pay kennel/cattery fees if you or your partner are hospitalised for more than 48 hours, up to a maximum of € 500.00.
* Accidental Death.- We will pay a full refund of the purchase price of your pet up to a maximum of € 500.00
* Lost and stolen. – Pets need to be found quickly so we will pay for local advertising costs and/or a reward scheme, up to a maximum of € 250.00
* Immediate cover. – Immediate cover for accidents and emergencies with illness cover effective 21 days from the date of issue.
* European and International cover. – European, international, transportation and travel cover is available upon request.
