Initially what struck me was how passionate and prepared the team is, they really believe in what they are doing and have so much experience it’s incredible. You can tell they really walk the talk so that inspired me. The course is interesting and it opened my mind to the benefits of vocal improvisation, especially the big question of structure versus free flow, lots of deep reflection on that. I resonated with the BAST method and found it to be an effective tool to use for my own inner work and with clients. I really like their emphasis on encouraging flourishing in the group and that the focus is on the group process so holding the space rather than directing. I definitely recommend this course for people who want to explore creativity as a therapeutic tool, it was lovely to see how participants would really have fun and play with sound, something I think is underrated. My own personal take away was to really do things for the sake of it without thinking of an outcome and creating voicescapes in different ways encouraged this. Cross fingers I passed! Eleneh
