Historia

Based on the Costa Brava in Spain, Sunshine Vintage is a small business run by me, Jayne Threadgould.

With the kind permission and understanding of my family I use space in our 18th century stone townhouse as workshop and showroom.

My objective is to use my imagination and passion for colour and fashion to breath new life into second hand stuff, mostly furniture, clothes and accessories such as bags, belt and shoes.

I take a broad approach to the tag "vintage". In Spain it just means pre-owned or second hand rather than the 25+ years old definition it has in some places. I don't let age stop me indulging in any gorgeous finds, whatever age they might be.

I travel a lot and when I do I am always on the lookout for good "picks" to bring home. I really enjoy the hunt and the thrill of finding something unloved which I know I can boost back to life.

I sell my finds at vintage and second hand markets every weekend, online from my website www.sunshine-vintage.com and other reseller portals and from my workshop with visits by appointment. Drop round for a cuppa sometime, I'd love to show you what I'm up to.
