When purchasing any property the easiest way to avoid any unwanted surprises is to instruct a building survey and valuation. Survey Spain’s Network of Chartered Surveyors’ are located throughout Spain covering mainland Spain, the Canary and Balearic Islands, Gibraltar and Southern Portugal.

Building Surveys
Our RICS qualified building surveyors have the experience and expertise to offer advice across all property sectors. We provide a complete range of building surveying services and our thorough reports offer real insight to the building. We undertake additional due diligence checks to ensure the paper Title and Tax descriptions are accurate to the physical property, with discrepancies being found up to 80% of the time and is an essential addition to the solicitor’s paperwork.

Our advisory approach is tailored to match to individual needs, where we find answers to the questions you don’t know to ask as well as those you do. Our reports are based on ‘ECC’ – finding the Evidence of defects; determining the Cause(s); and suggesting the Cure(s).
Our Reports enable the client to be fully aware of the condition of the building together with the risks or defects associated with it.

Valuation
Our valuation team has a reputation for delivering impartial, accurate and independent current market valuations, complying with strict deadlines and providing a service with emphasis on accuracy and professionalism. All valuation reports are prepared by a Chartered Valuation Surveyor in accordance with internationally accepted standards of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the International Valuation Standards and are reviewed by a second valuer.

Our expertise extends across sectors including residential, commercial, leisure and business property valuation. We provide all types of reports including Current Market Valuations, Mortgage Valuations, Insurance & Reinstatement Valuations, Asset Valuations for Financial
Reporting, Probate and Matrimonial Proceedings. Our work must comply with the RICS as at any point it could be audited by their robust regulatory process; internally it is supported by a rigorous due diligence process; and our thorough peer review system that ensures every valuation report is consistently of the highest quality.

We have no ties to Banks, Town Halls, Developers, Estate Agents or any other party; we work 100% exclusively for our clients. Every report we produce is strictly confidential to our client only.

Original We had a great experience with these guys - they were responsive to our initial request for a survey and, upon payment, scheduled the survey within a day or so.  The report itself was sufficient for our purposes and as described.  We had initial findings within a day of the survey and the full report within 7 days and was comprehensive.  We needed an English-speaking surveyor and these guys were able to deliver a full English report with English support afterwards - invaluable for someone who is poor in Spanish!  Absolutely satisfied and will use SurveySpain for our future work, as needed.  Highly Recommended!

From our initial contact we found them to be extremely friendly, knowledgeable and efficient at getting back to us.  Once we arranged for them to go and visit the property, we were pleased to receive a full and very detailed report extremely quickly offering advice and pointing out any defects. This was incredibly helpful as we aren't able to travel out to view the property ourselves and they picked up on things that we wouldn't have seen or known about had we done it ourselves.  They really helped to take the stress out of buying a property overseas and we were so happy with the service that we received, we can't recommend them enough!

When we contacted Survey Spain we had a tight deadline and a long list of specific questions for the surveyor.   They met the deadline and provided a full and comprehensive survey report; it was really detailed and covered all our questions and had possible solutions to the issues raised.   As an english speaker I was very happy to be dealing with a company in my mother tongue and also glad for the level of customer service and turnaround which isn't always possible locally.  I would happily recommend this company.
