Original We were on holiday and decided to treat the whole family to new sunglasses.  Stuart and Marina were amazing.  So helpful and friendly.... helping us decide what suited us best.  They have a fantastic selection of frames... think we must have tried almost every pair on between us but nothing was too much trouble.  They certainly went above and beyond and I highly recommend.

Original I have been going to the English Optician in La Cala for 6 years, since I moved to Spain. Over time my parents, husband, aunts and uncles have also become patients. We are all very pleased with their competent and friendly service.  I have a very complicated prescription with both severe myopia and also an astigmatism. During my pregnancy this got even worse and I was also looked after very well. I have check ups every three months to monitor my fluctuations and the team are always very kind and patient.  I cannot recommend them enough, over the years I have been through MANY opticians and The English Opticians are definitely the best!  The level of care and attention for their patients is unparalleled. It's a small family business and each patient is valued and treated well.

Original Not only do The English Opticians warrant five stars they also get ten out of ten as well. They very promptly identified the visual problems I was experiencing as being the result of my local branch of Specsavers in the UK having fitted lenses into three pairs of glasses which did not match my optical prescription.This mistake had then been further compounded by the same branch who, when I returned the glasses just a few weeks later saying they still did not feel right, checked my prescription against the lenses and told me all was in order. Within seventy two hours of my appointment at The English Opticians the problem had been diagnosed and I had three pairs of glasses all fitted with the correct prescription lenses. It is so good to be able to finally see properly, read a book clearly and be headache free.  Many many thanks to Stuart and Marina for their caring, professional and efficient service. I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending The English Opticians to anyone residing or holidaying in the La Cala area.
