More than 30 years nurturing live!

We started 30 years ago with a firm and innovative approach.

Firm, as our 30 years guarantee the professionalism and rigour of our work.

Innovative, as we are always one step ahead. In 1983 we inaugurated the first sperm bank of the Valencia Region (Spain) for the cryo-preservation of the male gametes in order to use them for Artificial Insemination or cryo-preserve them for radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery treatments.

This large experience has been determined by our ongoing commitment to training, teaching and researching. Three pillars that allowed us to develop the newest treatments and techniques on Reproduction that science has been discovering along these years.

What distinguishes us

• Location in a Hospital. As our patients feel safer and wrapped knowing that we are in healthy centre as the Hospital Clinica Vistahermosa. We do not understand any Reproduction Unit outside of a hospital environment.
• Quality of the processes. A priority in our work. That is the reason why, yearly, we have audits from Official Organizations and external audits.
• Personal treatment. As we do not work with patients, we work with people. Our priority is to offer the most complete information possible and to solve any doubts that may appear during the treatments as we understand how difficult this matter is.
• Professional agreements. We have agreements with all those centres and professionals of Reproduction that entrust us their patients. This improves our efficiency to coordinate and complete all those necessary studies to evaluate them together and to help with the Diagnosis and orientation of the treatment.
• Our own multidisciplinary team. Formed of Gynaecologists, Geneticists, Embryologists, Andrologists, Anaesthetists, Nurse Staff, Assistants, Administration staff and, of course, our International Department.
• Coordination. Something essetinal in our work as all our team works together, avoiding delays or time loss during a reproduction treatment, with consequent benefits for our patients.
• Success rates. Results over the standards published on the Fertility Spanish Society.

Human team

The most important asset of any health structure should be the human team. In Ur Vistahermosa, we are proud of our team and we have worked together for many years.

Our index of temporary employment is low, as all our collaborators feel happy with what they do and they do not wish to work anywhere else.

This is essential on the reproduction field as we work with people. This is why it is important to work with a team that transmits confidence, experience and knowledge. We all together form a team of Gynaecologists, Geneticists, Embryologists, Andrologists, Anaesthetists, Nurse staff, Assistants, Administration stuff, Psychologists and personnel of international-external department, coordinated under the direction of Dr. López Gálvez, director and founder of the Unit.

This team works in a coordinated manner with Dr. López Gálvez, studding the case and answering all the patients may need through the adequate team to each procedure.
• Our continued investment in the latest equipment enables us to carry out any reproductive technique. We are specialists in the more complex procedures, such us PGD. At the same time, we are specialized in gamete donation (egg and sperm).
• Our International Team, directed by Mrs. Salomé López Garrido, coordinate all the matters so the distance is not a problem, in order to make sure that all the treatments are carried out under the best conditions creating a confidence, nice and relaxed environment and this is from coordinating the airport transfers and accommodations (if needed) to, obviously, explaining and coordinating the medical treatments. This is guaranteed by many years of work and countless patients that came through this department.
