War ein paar mal Kaffee trinken , gut ...viel frequentiert ...Kellner im Stress zu viel Hektik ! Die 4Sterne ...naja ...hab vielleicht die schlechten Tage erwischt ! Nachtrag ...war drin zum Kaffeetrinken habe nach Wi-Fi gefragt, eine Wortsalve hat mich niedergemäht ...kein Wi-Fi mehr ... wollte schon nicht mehr auf's Klo ...noch Fragen ? ...das war's wohl !!!

An English bar? Well, must be that the owners changed again as I can see nothing particularly English there. I once went there with some German friends and wanted to invite them to a "granizado". Grano = grain. Granizo = hail. Granizado = a softdrink made of crushed ice that comes in many different flavours and many different colours. Generally, most bars offer Granizado with flavours like coffee, lemon and orange. But this bar offers the whole pallete! I asked the waiter which flavours are on offer today and he rushed to bring us the Granizado menu! He was a humourous character and after we had ordered Granizados in yellow, orange, green and lilac, he brought them immediately and we had such a laugh with him! The food is good as far as I have tried it, but then I wouldn't order English food in a Spanish bar, but proper Spanish dishes and they are great here! But the best thing about this bar is that it is situated next to the open space where the "mercadillo" takes place very Thursday. What a vantage point here, if you come early with some friends and get a table before the bar gets full. You can sit and amuse yourself watching the toing and froing around the market and you can take turns visiting the stalls buying what you fancy knowing that when you come back, there is a chair and a good selection of drinks and food waiting for you. And finally, there is a "mercat de terra" opposite this bar every second Saturday of the month where local people sell everything that is REALLY home grown or home made. Again, if you come early, get a table at the Bar Pego, have a drink and a "bocadillo" and enjoy the "mercat de terra".

The staff are very rude to English people . Turned away for trying to communicate. Not an English place at all ..
