Historia

Gaia is a joint project of two artists – Tadas Juras and Neringa Jurė.
Gaia is Mother Earth in Greek mythology and was born from Chaos, the great void of emptiness within the universe. Similary Gaia, our art project, was born from emptiness of our inner universes. There are timeless moments, when all thoughts subside and in that pure state you can perceive real beauty of the universe. And precisely these perceptions are the basis of our art.
We live and create in Andalusia, yet this region as a geografical entity is not the object of our art. Yes, Andalusian realia very often appears in our works, though we use them creating our own stories and myths – mythic Andalusia.
