The Costa Blanca is very easily accessible by motorway but also has 2 airports that are very close by. The Alicante / Elche airport in the north and the Murcia / San Javier airport in the south have regular flights from all over Europe arriving daily and currently the new Corvera Airport (just outside Murcia) is close to completion.

This airport will not only serve the Coastal area of the Costa Blanca, Costa Cálida and the Mar Menor area, but will also be a very important airport for the new Paramount Theme Park to be opened in 2015.

The Paramount Theme Park is set to be the big opponent for Euro Disney due to the location that offers visitors a year round good climate (something that Euro Disney cannot offer). The Costa Blanca and Costa Cálida are little by little developing into the most desired areas in Europe.

To keep up with the demand the new shopping centre Zenia Boulevard opened its doors in September 2012, this shopping centre is one of the biggest in Spain and is fully “open air” which underlines the year round good climate.
