Union of nightlife establishments all over the world.
The INTERNATIONAL NIGHTLIFE ASSOCIATION was formed on May 26, 2012 in Barcelona. The principal objective of this non-profit organization is to coordinate the participation of nightlife professionals across the world in order to influence the policy creation and decision-making processes of international institutions, setting forth the position of the nightlife sector and thereby improving the outcome of such processes for all parties involved. From the new Association we believe that we can improve the knowledge and image of this sector by working together between professionals from different countries for instance on matters like security, noise, licensing, alcohol, unfair competition, anti-tobacco legislation, etc on which each country legislates under different parameters. Nevertheless, what occurs in one country has effects all over the world. A recent example of this misfortune is the tragedy that took place recently in a discotheque in Brasil where 239 people were killed and 41 injured. The discotheque's license was expired and as it seems it didn't accomplish the Government security regulations, what has damaged the image of the nightlife sector all over the world, as we each day live in a more globalized world and it has raised questions about all countries security codes enforcement.
The INTERNATIONAL NIGHTLIFE ASSOCIATION wishes to emphasize to the various international institutions the importance that legislation be drafted with sufficient clarity so that all recommendations or requirements set forth be incorporated by each country without margin for confusion or divergent interpretations that provoke differential treatment of the nightlife sector and inequitable competitiveness across countries, at least what refers to those most important matters.
Our main objective is to promote and support positive contributions from nightlife entrepreneurs.
"We are the world's first non-profit organization founded specifically to represent entities involved in the nightlife sector, including restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, lounges, hotels and the most important suppliers."Agregue este mapa a su sitio web;
